Judo is a grappling sport that incorporates throwing, pinning and submission techniques to create a well rounded discipline that can be practiced as a sport, martial art, fitness program or self defence. It is an Olympic sport with endless opportunities to improve yourself both physically and mentally. In short, Judo builds better people.
The Regina Y Judo Club is an inclusive environment where Judoka (students) of all ages and skill level can come to train for their own personal goals. We have produced many top performing athletes that travel to tournaments in Canada and the USA and achieving podium level results.
Whether your goal is to learn to grapple, get fit, have fun, attain a black belt or stand on top of the podium, we can help to make that happen.
Please note that we have a 2 part registration system:
Part 1 - Registration with Regina Y Judo (completed on this site)
Part 2 - Membership to the Downtown Regina YMCA. Membership to the YMCA is separate from the Regina Y Judo Club fees and is required to step onto the mats.
Judo uniforms (Gi's) are separate from fees and can be purchased at the club.
